After almost two years of working with the incomparable Grace Cheong, Black Eye recently found out our star was born in Scotland! Despite a marked lack of a brogue, she definitely has that crazy celtic sensibility.

The extremely talented and most gracious Grace is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art & Design (2001). Her outstanding design smarts were twice recognized in her final year when she was named the recipient of both the medal in graphic design (awarded to the top graduating student) and the Governor General’s award.

She began her illustrious career in wild & wooly Toronto, knocking out corporate identity and web design projects with ease & skill. Drawn by love, and of course, smoked meat, she moved to Montreal in 2004.

She’s passionate about good design, good books and good and bad zombie movies–plus she’s ten types of fun to have around.
