in 2001, a very different film festival noticed Black Eye’s one-two punch. For 9 years, Cinemania has seduced Montreal cinephiles with an alluring showcase of the world's best French- language films, all in English subtitled versions. Black Eye outfitted non-profit Cinemania with its own custom database, tripling the time available to concentrate on the design and aesthetics of the festival materials.
